seattle ajc

although this site began as a chronicle of a trip to Israel during the early days of the war with Hezbollah, my personal involvement with ajc began at the local level with my seattle chapter

our chapter is entering an exciting new era of development, and I look forward to sharing that here

Christmas at Sea-Tac: what would Borat say?

Ultimately we cannot legislate against anti-Semitism or bigotry of any sort. But political correctness merely covers misunderstandings and misinformation, leaving a blandness that is not overtly offensive, but subversive in its own right.

True pluralism requires education, awareness, and respect for diversity. We are all the bad joke that supports Borat’s success.

it’s no laughing matter. But we still have an opportunity to get it right.

I celebrate Chanukah. But Merry Christmas to all.
